Terms

Gamblr is a behavioural support app. It does not replace therapy, medical care, or Gamblers Anonymous. Using it means agreeing to these terms.

What Gamblr is

Gamblr is an iPhone app and a website. It offers self-guided check-ins, urge-management tools, and a money-saved counter to help people stop gambling. It is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, or cure any condition.

If you are in crisis, please call a helpline now. United States: 1-800-GAMBLER. United Kingdom: 0808 8020 133 (National Gambling Helpline). France: 09 74 75 13 13 (Joueurs Info Service). Anywhere else: see gamblersanonymous.org.

Acceptable use

Your content

Your "why I quit" note, your urge logs, your relapse logs, your check-ins — all of that belongs to you. It lives on your device by default. If you opt in to the public Wall of Quitters, you grant Gamblr a non-exclusive licence to display your first name, days clean, and money-saved figure on gamblrapp.com. You can revoke that at any time by emailing us.

No medical or financial advice

Nothing in Gamblr is medical advice, mental-health diagnosis, financial advice, or debt-management advice. Gambling disorder is a recognised clinical condition. If you are struggling, please also see a doctor, a therapist, or a free debt-advice charity (StepChange in the UK, NFCC in the US, Crésus in France). We have no commercial relationship with any of them.

Availability and changes

Gamblr is provided "as is." We work to keep it running, but we don't promise uptime. We may change features, prices, or these terms. If we materially change something, you will see notice in the app before you next open it.

Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Gamblr is not liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising from your use of the app or this site. Our total liability to you, for any claim, will not exceed the amount you paid in subscription fees in the 12 months before the claim.

Nothing here limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, or anything else that can't be limited by law in your jurisdiction.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of France. Disputes go to the courts of France, unless your local consumer-protection law gives you a different right that can't be waived — in which case that applies.
